Hi Rog, I might be interested in this, again depending on the timing. It'd be great meeting some like minded folks face to face as opposed to through a keyboard (PC variety that is) Phil |

Hey Rog , make sure you keep me posted as I really do need a time-line if I am to sink a Pint with you and Phil and who knows, maybe Ken may get dispensation and arrive from Norway, all I know is we could have a wonderful time especially if kn7000.net members and V.I.P.`s especially got involved with this promotion to make it a "Very special Occasion " take good care cheers Mal![]() |

Hi Rog, I could be interested in the get together a lot depends on what I have on at the time. What would be the proposed programme for the "gig"? How many days etc. Regards Chris. |

Hello all, just back from holidays and saw the post about a possible jam in the UK. I am a terrible player and would jump at the chance to watch and listen to some of our more accomplished platers and pick up a few tips. Up,t north would be great for me so count me in. all the best. Barry |

Well good on you Barry ,could mean my Missus will let me come out to play with you guys in Blackpool if we can get this sort of support for a Bash & Lash ,I know Rog is getting the numbers up and as I said to our Rog ,if we could get the guys from Tech-Note to support this also from their data Base ,would make a huge difference to our numbers and with Kenneth promoting it also, could become a super happening in U.K. be safe Mal![]() |

Rog , surely each retail store owner would know just who they sold the 7000 too ,and one would presume that any contact that they can have, at a retail level, even promoting an out of date product such as the 7000 has to enhance that retailers credentials to his old clients inviting them to Blackpool for our bash, must sound totally credible to the owner ,and if dissatisfied with the product ,the communication could assist in selling a new product for that dealer, your comments and cheers for listening Mal ![]() |

Hi Malc - Let me follow your logic if I may. Invite one or more Retailers to an event celebrating an out of production keyboard so that they may hope to convert those proud owners away from their KN7000 to another manufacturers model; and this despite the whole event being designed to help attendees better cope with the Technics keyboard they have. Naah mate it don't add up either for the purpose of the get together or for the hopeful Retailer(s). Each retailer does know exactly who they sold Technics KN7000's to but they are not allowed by law to divulge that information to a third party here in the UK...it's called Data Protection. Finally I've attended events of this nature where there are Retailers present and they dominate the proceedings in their efforts to make a buck! I believe it would take away from the essence of what we are trying to put together which is a get together of KN7000 owners to swap knowledge etc Best wishes Rog |

Hi Rog ,my idea was that if each of the members already signed in for our Wing-Ding could go to their local retailer that sold them the goods, asked for just one more contact that purchased a 7000 in their area to have maybe a private knees up, this might give us more exposure than we seem to have ! I have more members that belong to my 7000 Group here in Brisbane than we have got agreeing to attend the U.K. Bash and if it were being held here in Australia ,I reckon I could get 85% of these folk to come to such a do!! I might Add that this is a big country to travel in !! Understand the law Rog ,but had in mind that the retailer would surely be much more far sighted than a deal on the day and I did not have in mind any retailers involvement at the actual get together ! Blessings Mal![]() |

Hi Malc We now have around 30 potential attendees which I reckon is a comfortable number without the need to promote further...not that anyone else isn't welcome. Come one come all, I say... Sorry I misunderstood your suggestion about Retailers. Rog |
