Malcolm, remember to put the files in a .zip file and give it a plain name without space and other weird signs in. Then use the attach feature.

I attached Malcolm's files in this message (see below).
Kenneth attached the following file:

Wow, I've just downloaded your file and after having downloaded Midinotate s/w, sat back in amazement. I assume you created midi file on keyboard then input it into Midinotate. Did Midinote do the rest? Did it auto palce the chord symbols? If so I can see I'll be spending more hours on my PC than on my keyboard - chord allocation is one of my biggest headaches along with score writing.
I'm gobsmacked
Phil
p.s. I think I'm going to need a bigger office to accomodate all the kit. Maybe I'll suggest to the wife it's about time we moved to a bigger house?!!**?

Yes Midi notate did just that ,Phil ,after you have done your easy record of the song save it as a Technics file and keep safe and then save it again this time as a midi file and Print .....musically on the 7000 it will sound very Sick as the systems exclusive rhythm section will not convert but as you have identified it will put in the right chords at the same place you put them in at and will be great Print copy ,cheers Mate Malcolm

Do I have your email address Phil ,I would like to send you a rough version of w.w.i.s.y.a. "Music on Screen" on your 7000 ...see what you think and let me know ?? Its not perfect but then I have only spent an hour so far on this project. Do you think this feature should be a part of the V.I.P. Package for Kenneth. I do, but your advise, cheers now Malcolm

Malcolm, click on Phil's username in left side in one of his messages. This will take you to [url_self=http://www.kn7000.net/profile.php?lookup=763]his profile and you will find Phil's emailadress there.

Just a tip: To prevent spam it's a good thing not type emailadresses directly in messages in forumthreads, etc. but instead use the members profile to get the emailadress.

Malcolm, look forward to recieving your file via my e-mail address (see Kenneth's note) Yes, I agree, I think this feature should be part of V.I.P. Package. Only reservation would be that I assume most members are not V.I.P. and access to these kind of files etc. would therefore be limited. On the other hand it may give extra incentive to become V.I.P. members and give a boost to Kenneth's efforts.

Sorry for delay, but I have been terrible busy lately. I have now tried the song in my KN7000 and it works just fine. Scores shows up during the playing but the scores stops in about measure nr. 40. It keeps showing the same score through the end of the song.

Edit: Phil, your song is wonderful and I like the balladstyle for it (my favorite styles are ballad styles). But I have tried your song with a faster style and I feel it sounds nice that way too. If it's ok with you I could send you my version, or maybe upload it to the "Downloads" on this site.

I have now played Phil's song on my KN7000 and I used the German Pop 2 style. If you want to listen all VIP-members can download the mp3 from [url_self=http://www.kn7000.net/downloads.php?cat_id=21]HERE

I’m really looking forward to hearing your interpretations of the song. Like you I’m disappointed more members haven’t joined in and I agree with you both re VIP limitations. Having said that, I’m hoping to drop a different “Busker’s” version on here to see if that stimulates a bit more enthusiasm. So come on folks have a go!!

Hi Phil. I have now sent my mp3 to your email. I hope you receive it now.

For other VIP's remember that my mp3 file is almost 4Mb big and you will probably get a white page for a while when the file loads. The playback should then start playing after a while.

Yes, I really hope we could get some more action in here. In here we dont care if you are pro or not. I will also try to share more of my recordings. My backdraw is that I never is satisfied with my recordings. When I listen to my recordings I think I should use another instrument there and play something else there, and so on. Maybe this is the case for others too, but I think we should just send our songs anyways even if it's not 100% correct played, etc.

Kenneth, I’ve just listened to your mp3 version – great. Here’s my “Busker” version, to try and get some other responses. Another ballad I’m afraid, although I did try Musette Waltz, std. Var. 4 @181, this sounds OK too. As long as you maintain the basic integrity of the song I guess anything goes.
Best Wishes
Phil
