Hi Rex Show once in the Thread "problem with my KN 7000".

07/31/2010
Hi All, I have been having trouble turning on the KN7000. The screen stays blank and no sound comes from the keyboard but the ultra-violet light on the SD player is on. Any clues?

A Come -Back from Osaka?

Hi Guys ,you know it`s wonderful to be talking with a true and faithful set of folk who just love Technics Musical Instruments.
I, gave up my job of selling musical keyboards the day that Technics quit building their wonderful range of musical keyboards,
The reason is that deep down ,nobody likes to lie about what they sell and I always knew that Technics were built ,not just manufactured.Maybe it was the fact that others merely payed lip service to what I call quality at any price and who were not at any time fashionable for sales sake.
No, these people "Technics" really cared about their prospective owners and their need were duly met by each model that was created and modeled by people that had blood running through their veins and with backbones that brisled when their instruments were played at Conventions World Wide ,knowing that they would be voted the "Best":
Like their previous experiences Technics(Panasonic) would take it as a sign that "No Musical Advertising" would be required to fly our Keyboard to Number 1 Sadly ,the Bands on T.V. were all given brand R.Y K K etc which made every body consider they simply must have one of those brands in preference to an electronics company that made "Bread makers '
Panasonic ... please give us back our Technics keyboards ... you simply do not understand the ears of a musician and yet ,.. you did supply us the wonderful Technics Keyboards ..Be Brave ,give us our 7000 back ,still not eclipsed by your neighbors 4 years after you quit building,Best wishes Mal

Mal, whilst I support your comments above re the KN7000 you suggest in your "shout" that Technics could be having second thoughts. If this is so where did this rumour come from? Can you shed more light on the subject or have I miss understood your rant? I for one would purchase a new KN8000 tomorrow if there was one.

Thanks Phil for your input which is always positive and to the point ...my source of information was a member of the retail industry here in Brisbane who had been to Japan and had heard a whisper that Panasonic were re-looking at feasability of such a move as well we know electronics is a fast expanding market and technology has moved on in the past 5 to 6 years ,yet the manufacturers have stayed relatively quiet with little earth shattering new ground filtering into the electronic music ..who knows ,it could be twaddle ,just not sure! Me too on the 8000 orders ,please God cheers mate and blessings MalSmile

Can't see this happening but I also, would buy a KN8000 tomorrow unseen & unheard - I will always have faith in Technics & can't believe that the Rolls Royce of arranger keyboards is gone.
Best wishes,
Tony

Thanks Tony, you are so right about the Technics being the "Roller" without the oil leaks ..I`m with you ,as I say I just mentioned what a REP in the industry had said on his return from Japan ....be safe and again thanks for your forward order for an 8000 sight unseen ,MalSmile

Having just been exposed to a Tyros 3 I now know that Technics does, and still can do it better than [censored] just by editing the sounds on your Technics 7000 to a Tyros 3 ... cheers MalGrin
